Our Story

It all began with a 3 a.m. phone call.

Shriyanka's grandfather had just spoken to a scammer, who had nearly stole his life savings minutes before. Hearing the vulnerability in his voice, Shriyanka realized that he couldn't have been the only senior as a target.

Determined to translate her grandfather's experience into meaningful impact, she started conducting cybersecurity presentations at local senior living homes and community centers, such as Ivy Park Senior Living Home and Evergreen Community Center. Knowing this was far from a one-person job, she collaborated with Aarini Naskar and Sahana Shyam to advance the mission of bridging the digital literacy gap among the elderly.

As they began partnering with diverse organizations like the Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County, they expanded their workshops to include Spanish for accommodating non-native English speakers. Today, they have already educated over 1,100 attendees across Bay Area senior living homes and community centers in both English and Spanish.
